Typically clients come to us because they have recently undergone or expect a major CHANGE, such as:
• A move, merger, expansion, contraction,
or purchase
• Major transitions such as promotion, relocation
• Natural disaster, health status, change in family, etc.
Conversely, some clients come to us because they are proactive and want to IMPROVE their productivity or enhance the quality of their life by reducing stress. We help them:
• Save time
• Service their customers better
• Foster sustainable growth.
Since our client relationships are confidential, the following case studies are anonymous to protect the disorganized.

Merge and Surge
Symptom
A traveling sales executive was on the road half the time. When his company
merged, sales volume and his responsibilities tripled. As is so often the case,
he was required to do more with less.
Solution
“Good system. I already notice the difference. Stuff comes up, I don’t have to
dig, retrieval is one tenth the time – one minute vs. ten
seconds…. I can be
on the road with confidence, I know that I have this new system back in the office
and that with one hour’s time I can get up to speed. Honestly, it is a huge difference
mentally to work like this, it’s like night and day, to find things vs. stacking.
Now I have a mental framework – a commitment. I come back to the office and yank
vs. dig through piles. There’s a sense of mastery and control I didn’t have before.
I was underestimating my ability to do this, it’s about systems.”

![I attended a company-sponsored time management class; it taught me a few good things. But the paper stress is [still] huge. I need the ability to turn on a dime, gather information and get out to get in front of the customer. I attended a company-sponsored time management class; it taught me a few good things. All Hands on Desk
Symptom
A banking VP, mother of 2, and physical trainer, felt maxed
out, juggling a
demanding job, private clients and struggling with how to stretch her very
small home space. “We have no systems, I’m doing too much, there’s too much
paper and piles of clutter.”
A single desk supported both her husband’s business and her own as well as
typical family action items. The mountain on it became a fountainhead of great
stress -- missed social invitations, delayed decisions, and wasted time looking
for things and doing everything at the last minute.
Solution
Once she discovered systems to coordinate home and office which she referred
to as “the joy of being organized”, she used the process to delegate, prioritize
and overcome obstacles.

Dualling Managers
Symptom
With a manager and two studio managers, a growing service company seemed poised
to handle its growth. More work, some duplication and
overlap of responsibilities,
unmatched schedules, and lack of personnel training made communication difficult
and handing off work a chore. When they realized that they could no
longer leverage their resources effectively, they turned to CR.
Solution
We instituted weekly meetings to coordinate assignments and “Clarissa made
it very clear, you have to determine when you’re becoming inefficient by doing
more. She actually reviewed different ways to say ‘no’ to clients and make
it acceptable. Coordinating and delegating allowed us to meet the demands of
our growing business.”
